The information Bridalpointe.com collects
The information we collect on our website is necessary to respond to your requests, provide services you desire. Any information we collect is for in house, need to know basis only, and is not sold or distributed.
Contest and Surveys
As of this writing Bridalpointe.com does not conduct surveys or use contest to obtain your private information.
Cookies
Once you visit any web site a "cookie", small pieces of information, is deposited onto your computer or your browser, which allows your computer to "remember" what sites and pages were visited. IP address
When you connect to any website on the web your computer software and main operating chip automatically generates your IP address (as a number-not a name); and the web site you are connected to reads and records your that IP address. At Bridalpointe.com ( as do all business websites ) we record that IP address and the type of operating system you have on your computer as well as other technical information to allow our website developers to write the best programs and pages, diagnose problems on our various servers, and to help provide wedding information to the broadest scope of visitors. We use this information in house only. It is not disclosed and not sold.
Chat rooms and message boards news groups
We do not have chat rooms or message boards because of the integrity of privacy, (also liable and slander considerations). Many times posting on chat rooms and message boards are subjective opinions that may or may not reflect the experiences and general attitudes of the general public. If you have a problem or wish to express your comments on a particular topic or vendor, please use the "contact us" button and we will respond in a businesslike professional manner.
Security measures we take to protect your private information
Any information well collect and use is held private and confidential, according to industry standards. If you shop with any of our vendors and advertisers, you should require SSL encryption, (look for the little padlock in the lower right had corner of your screen) which scrambles the data of the transmission so it can be read only by the secure de-scrambler at the other end. Please note that our site has links to our advertisers and other websites. Please also note this privacy policy does not cover the policies and activities or information collected on other websites.
